Youth Leadership - Group Leader Tyrone Bryan delivers a robust and meaningful mentorship service for young people. Using a strength-based approach and the wraparound principles of systems of care, the program provides holistic and individualized support. It builds on each youth’s existing strengths, coordinates resources across family, school, and community systems, and creates empowering spaces where young people can thrive academically, socially, and personally.
Education - Group Leader Benard Bryan Promote the goals and objectives of Brevard County School Board especially in underserved communities as they relate to objectives of the Concerned Citizens Committee of South Brevard Inc.
Voter Advocacy - Group Leader Joseph McNeil, Jr. To collaborate with community partners (South Brevard Branch NAACP, Push Back Alliance Coalition, Martin Luther King Coalition) to lobby for candidates that will promote the well being of the at large community.
Environmental Advocacy - Group Leader Joseph McNeil - To establish working relationships within the City of Melbourne, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and various developer entities within our areas to ensure that environmentally compromised areas are properly managed, monitored, and restored.
Founders Monument - Group Leader, Darlene Brummell - Install a monument to commemorate the legacy of the three freed slaves that founded of Crane Creek later renamed Melbourne.
Community Development - Group Leader Marcus Smith - To bring about change to a historic blighted community, revitalization of the Old South Melbourne Business District to include up grading the infrastructure and preserving historic landmarks.
